Dedicated to the enhancement of the human-animal bond

The behavior of your pet is and integral part of the special relationship that exists between humans and animals. Sometimes, however, that relationship is strained by inappropriate behavior exhibited by your animal companion. Some behavior problems may even cause your pet to harm themselves, strangers or family members and, in extreme cases, make living with your pet unbearable. A behavior consultation can help by offering management guidance to overcome even the worst behavior problems. Guardians of pets that wish to take preventative measures to avoid future behavior problems may also benefit from a consultation.

Veterinary behavior consultations have the advantage of medical conditions contributing or even causing behavioral problems in your pet can be identified and treated in cooperation with your pet's regular veterinarian. In addition, medication as an adjunct to your pet's behavior modification plan can be prescribed, when appropriate.

Behavior problems in pets that may benefit from a consultation:

  • House-soiling
  • Destructive behavior
  • Excessive vocalization
  • Fear of people, animals, loud noises, storms, objects
  • Separation anxiety
  • Aggressive behavior towards people, other animals
